Veronica Bishop was raised in Sequim, Washington (pronounced SKWIM), and attended university in British Columbia, earning a BA in English literature. After university, she took the obligatory year off to travel the world, learn to scuba dive and fall in love. She met and married a French man on her travels and moved back to Portland in 2011.
In her spare time, Veronica is an avid reader, walker and treasure-hunter. She never gets tired of rearranging the furniture in her house, and she thinks there is nothing quite as beautiful as the English language.
Her professional background is diverse, including teaching, publishing, writing and public speaking. She became a content creator almost by accident, as she worked to support the businesses she was working for. When she realized how much she loved the work, Veronica decided to start her own business.
Veronica believes that brand clarity is key, and a large part of her job is to provide clear and transparent content while still remaining organically keyworded and SEO relevant. Writing is her passion, and she feels very lucky to do it for a living.
Over the years, Veronica has come to understand that the key to success in any business is an ability to listen to people, truly hear what they want and need, and then find a solution. When she works with a client, whether it is to help them create a social media strategy, improve their website or create a digital marketing plan, her goal is always to listen and truly hear what they want, then provide it. That may come in the form of a complete website or social media audit, an agreement to produce content for them, and referrals to other providers who can help fill in any missing gaps.
As a content creator, Veronica’s goal is always to help your business thrive online so that you can spend more time doing what you love.
